Daikon, mooli, or white radish Fry is quick and easiest food .I came to know about this recipe from my Mother-in-low. My family absolutely loves this dish. Radish Fry can eat with rice and roti. It is very tasty food. It is the simplest Bengali recipe.  Easy to cook and bring anywhere like office, while travailing or school with Roti (Indian Bread ) ,paratha . Try it at home. Ingredients for Radish fry:
    • 2 cups radish,peeled and grated
    • 2 tbsp oil
    • 2 pinch Turmeric
    • 2 pinch cumin seed
    • 2 Green chilli
    • 1 cup chopped coriander leaves.
    • salt to test
Method: First Peel the skin and grate the Radish. In a Pan add 2 tbsp of oil & add the cumin seeds or you can use Panch phoron* in hot oil. Add grated radish to the pan. Then add turmeric, salt and pour green chili Close the pan with lid and cook on low flame for 4 to 5 minutes until the radish is well cooked and tender Serve with chopped coriander leaves. Tasty radish fry is ready. Serve with white rice or roti. You can use this as filling for paratha or rolls.     *Panch phoron, also found transliterated as panch puran, panch phoran, panchphoran, panch phutana, is a whole spice blend used in Bangladesh and Eastern India, especially in Mithila, Bengali, Assamese and Oriya cuisine.
